Austin Greene



Austin Greene is a professional drill writer and music educator from Raleigh, NC. Austin is the visual caption head for the 10-time DCI World Champion Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps and a program consultant the Western Carolina University “Pride of the Mountains” marching band. Austin attended Western Carolina University where he earned his B.S.Ed. in Music Education in 2003 and the University of Connecticut earning his Master of Music in Conducting in 2006.

Austin began his teaching career at North Forsyth High School in Winston-Salem, NC. In 2006 he was named the Director of Bands at Concord High School in Concord, NC; and In 2008, he accepted the position as Director of Bands and Performing Arts Department Chair at Durham School of the Arts. In 2010 Austin was hired as an adjunct instructor at the Dublin Institute of Technology's National Conservatory of Music in Dublin, Ireland.

Austin is in regular demand as a designer and clinician throughout the United States. He also serves as an adjudicator for Bands of America, Winter Guard International, and numerous other local organizations. Austin lives with his dog, Toby, in Raleigh, NC.
